Hannibal, the 23-year-old Tunisia midfielder at Burnley, is being linked with a move to Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig.
The attacking midfielder has started all four of Burnley’s Championship matches this season, playing 241 minutes without scoring or providing an assist. He has also made two appearances in the EFL Cup.
Hannibal joined Burnley from Manchester United on 28 August 2024 in a deal worth €6.4m. He helped the club secure promotion to the Premier League in the 2024-25 season, before Burnley were relegated back to the Championship last term.
He has a market value of €15m and remains under contract at Turf Moor until 30 June 2028, meaning any move to Fenerbahce would involve negotiations over a transfer fee rather than a free transfer.
Hannibal was born in Ivry-sur-Seine, France, and has represented Tunisia at international level. He played all three of Tunisia’s matches at the 2026 World Cup and supplied two assists.
The possible switch would take him from England’s second tier to Fenerbahce’s Super Lig squad, with the Istanbul club identified as the side linked with his services. For now, Hannibal remains a Burnley player and has been involved in each of the club’s league fixtures this season.
