Guinea defender Souleymane Diane has joined Slovan B from French youth side VAFC U19, completing the move on 3 September 2026.
Diane, 19, moves into Slovan B’s squad for the II. Liga after spending the previous two seasons with VAFC U19. The defender was born in Conakry and stands 1.84m tall.
He joined VAFC U19 from Angers SCO U19 on 1 July 2024, with that earlier move recorded as a free transfer. Diane had initially entered Angers’ youth set-up in July 2023.
The switch to Slovan B represents the next step in the young defender’s career, taking him from the National U19 – Group A to the Slovak second-tier competition. His transfer was completed at the start of the 2026-27 season.
Diane had not made an appearance for VAFC U19 in the National U19 Championship – Group A during the 2026-27 campaign before leaving. He was listed with two possible matches in the competition but had not started or played any minutes.
Slovan B is the club’s reserve side, and Diane’s arrival adds a 19-year-old Guinea international-profile defender to its squad. His recorded position is defender, with no additional role specified.
The move follows a short spell at VAFC U19, where Diane spent the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons after beginning his youth career at Angers. He now continues his development in a new country and a different league environment with Slovan B.
Diane’s transfer from VAFC U19 to Slovan B was completed on 3 September 2026.
