El Chadaille Bitshiabu, the France and DR Congo defender at Leipzig, is being linked with a move to Galatasaray in Turkey’s Super Lig.
The 21-year-old centre-back has a reported market value of €18m, while the probability attached to the proposed transfer is 33%. There is no indication that an agreement has been reached, and Bitshiabu remains under contract with Leipzig until 30 June 2029.
Bitshiabu joined the German club from Paris St-Germain on 18 July 2023 in a deal worth €15m. He has since made 38 Bundesliga appearances, playing 1,810 minutes, and has also featured five times in the Champions League and six times in the DFB-Pokal.
The 1.96m defender began his senior career at PSG after progressing through the club’s youth system. He won two French league titles with PSG, in 2021-22 and 2022-23, before moving to Leipzig.
The potential move would see Bitshiabu leave the Bundesliga for Galatasaray, although his long-term Leipzig contract means any transfer would require an agreement between the clubs.
