Cameroon midfielder Arthur Avom, who plays for FC Lorient, has been linked with a move to Galatasaray.
The 21-year-old central midfielder is being mentioned in connection with a switch from Ligue 1 to the Turkish Super Lig. Avom’s market value is listed at €20m, while his contract with Lorient runs until 30 June 2027.
Avom has started both of Lorient’s Ligue 1 matches in the 2026-27 season, completing the full 180 minutes without a goal or assist. He joined Lorient’s first team from the club’s B side in July 2024 and was part of the squad that won the French second-tier title in the 2024-25 campaign.
The midfielder began his senior career in Cameroon with Fauve Azur before moving to Lorient B in August 2023. He has remained with the French club since making that move and has made two Ligue 1 appearances, both coming during the current campaign.
A transfer to Galatasaray would represent a move to a new league for Avom, but the available details do not indicate that an agreement has been reached or that a fee has been negotiated.
For now, Avom remains a Lorient player, with the French club holding him under contract for a further season beyond the current campaign.
