FIFA releases “Echo” as third official song for 2026 World Cup

FIFA has released the third official song from its music album for the 2026 World Cup, continuing its global promotional campaign ahead of the tournament’s expanded edition.

The competition, which will be hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico, will be the first World Cup to feature 48 teams, marking a significant expansion from previous tournaments. The music project is part of FIFA’s wider effort to build anticipation and create a distinctive cultural identity for the event.

The newly released track, titled “Echo”, is the latest addition to the official soundtrack. It follows earlier releases, including “Lighter” and “Por Ella”, as FIFA continues to develop a multi-song album designed to accompany the build-up to the tournament.

Global collaboration behind “Echo”

The production of “Echo” brings together a range of international artists and producers, reflecting the global nature of the World Cup itself. The track features collaboration between American rap artist Daddy Yankee and Jamaican singer Shenseea.

Other contributors to the song include Ibrahim Maalouf, Massari, Adiom and Jota Rosa, adding further diversity to the production team.
