Fenerbahce and Liverpool are level at 1-1 at half-time after an eventful opening period in the UEFA Champions League.
Liverpool controlled much of the ball, recording 73% possession, but Fenerbahce remained competitive and responded quickly after falling behind.
The Reds took the lead in the 25th minute when Trey Nyoni found the net. Their advantage lasted only four minutes, with M. Greenwood drawing Fenerbahce level from a free-kick in the 29th minute.
Neither side could find a second goal before the interval, leaving the match finely balanced heading into the second half.
