Erling Haaland reaches 100 non-penalty Premier League goals in record time

Manchester City defeated newly promoted Ipswich Town in the seventh round of the English championship, scoring three goals in the victory.

Erling Haaland scored twice to take his Premier League tally to 100 goals when penalties are excluded. The Norway international reached the landmark in only 139 appearances, faster than any other player in the competition’s history.

Manchester City’s next English championship fixture is against Aston Villa.

Haaland has been with Manchester City since the summer of 2022, when he joined the club from German side Borussia Dortmund.
