Egyptian defender El Sayed Zayed has joined Nabaroh on a free transfer from Mansoura, signing a contract with the club until 30 June 2028.
The 32-year-old left-back, who was born in Samannoud and prefers to play on his left foot, moves after a spell at Mansoura in which he featured across league and cup competitions. His arrival gives Nabaroh an experienced option on the left side of defence ahead of the new campaign.
Zayed rejoined Mansoura in August 2025 from Baladiya, also on a free transfer, having previously spent four years with Mansoura between 2018 and 2022. His career has largely been built in Egyptian football, with earlier spells at Kahraba Talkha and Baladiya before his latest move.
During his most recent seasons, Zayed accumulated minutes in the Premier League, Egyptian League Cup and Egypt Cup, building a profile as a dependable defensive presence. He made appearances in all three competitions, totalling more than 600 minutes of first-team football.
At 32, he adds significant domestic experience to Nabaroh’s squad, with his new deal tying him to the club for the next two seasons. The move continues a long-running connection with clubs in the region and marks the latest step in a career spent entirely in Egyptian football.
Zayed’s free transfer from Mansoura to Nabaroh, completed on 20 July 2026, sees him become one of the club’s key summer arrivals as he commits his future there until 2028.
