Eyptian side Pharco FC has announced an indefinite withdrawal from all competitions organised by the Confederation of African Football, in protest at the body’s recent decision regarding the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The move, described as unprecedented, means the club will no longer take part in any CAF tournaments, including the continent’s premier club competitions.
This includes the CAF Champions League, the CAF Confederation Cup and the CAF Super Cup, as well as any other competitions under the organisation’s authority.
