Dynamo Douala appoint Bisseck as head coach after Soh exit

Dynamo Club de Douala have appointed Jean Baptiste Bisseck as their new head coach, ushering in a new chapter for the Littoral-based side.

Bisseck will be assisted by Alexandre Thierry Belibi Ngolo, with the duo tasked with revitalising the team’s campaign following a mixed run of results.

The appointment comes after the dismissal of Simplice Soh, who was relieved of his duties after 12 matches in charge. During his tenure, Dynamo recorded five wins, three draws and four defeats.

While the team showed promise going forward, scoring 20 goals and displaying an attacking style, inconsistency in results ultimately led the club’s management to make a change.

Bisseck arrives with significant experience and a track record of success in Cameroonian football. He previously coached the Cameroon women’s national team and made a notable impact at club level by guiding Coton Sport de Garoua to a national league title.

His immediate task will be to stabilise results and translate Dynamo’s attacking potential into consistent performances as the season progresses.

The club will now look to the new coaching setup to provide direction and momentum, as they aim to climb the standings and reassert themselves as a competitive force in domestic football.
