Former Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal has been offered to a number of Italian clubs, according to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The 1992-born defender is currently a free agent after leaving Real Madrid and is considering his next move. Romano says Carvajal has been presented to Serie A sides in recent days, including during the current international break.
“Dani Carvajal has also been offered in Italy in recent days,” Romano said on his YouTube channel. “He is still available as a free agent and has been proposed to Italian clubs. From what I understand, he still wants to continue playing rather than retire, unless the right solution is not found. At that point, he could consider other options.”
However, Romano stressed that there has been no advanced negotiation involving the former Spain international.
“Carvajal has been proposed to Italian clubs, even during this international break,” he added. “Some clubs have already brought in players from Real Madrid, with Udinese making the surprise move for Alaba.”
“There is nothing advanced for Carvajal at the moment, but he has been offered and it is a situation to follow. He has also been proposed to clubs in Qatar, as well as other sides abroad. We will see what happens.”
