Cucurella makes hair remark to referee after Vinicius Junior’s red card

Real Madrid left-back Marc Cucurella made an ironic remark to the referee during his side’s match against Villarreal.

Vinicius Junior was sent off in the second half after pulling Nathan Saliba’s hair. The incident came at the end of an attack in which the Brazilian appeared to score, but the goal was ruled out following a video review.

Vinicius Junior was shown a straight red card, leaving Real Madrid to play with 10 men.

Despite being reduced to a player, Real Madrid held on to their lead in the closing stages and secured a 1-0 victory.
