England-Nigeria left-back Jayden Meghoma is the subject of transfer interest from Club Brugge, with the Brentford defender linked with a move to the Belgian club.
The 20-year-old is contracted to Brentford until 30 June 2028, meaning any transfer would require an agreement between the clubs rather than a free move.
Meghoma returned to Brentford at the end of May after spending the 2025-26 season on loan at Rangers. The temporary switch followed an earlier loan spell at Preston during the previous campaign.
He joined Brentford from Southampton Under-21s in August 2024 in a deal worth €5.9m. Meghoma had previously been part of Tottenham’s youth set-up before moving to Southampton in 2022.
His senior career has included appearances in England’s Championship and Premier League, as well as Scottish football. He has also featured in European competition, with eight Europa League appearances recorded in his career.
Meghoma’s listed market value is €2m, while his contract remains in place with the Premier League club. Club Brugge play in the Jupiler Pro League and are the club currently linked with a move for the defender.
No transfer has been confirmed, and Meghoma remains a Brentford player as the rumour develops.
