Club Bruges beat PSV Eindhoven to claim ninth straight victory

Club Bruges secured a 2-1 win at PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, to continue their outstanding run of form and make it nine consecutive victories in all competitions.

The Belgian side took the lead in the 25th minute when Nicolo Tresoldi finished to put the visitors ahead at half-time.

PSV responded soon after the interval, with Kodai Sano levelling in the 54th minute after Club Bruges failed to clear the ball effectively. Peter Bosz’s team then pressed for a second goal as they looked to complete the turnaround in front of their home supporters at the Philips Stadion.

But Club Bruges restored their advantage in the 65th minute. Joaquin Seys sent Carlos Forbs through into space, and the Portuguese winger won his one-on-one duel with Matej Kovar to put the visitors back in front.

PSV continued to search for another equaliser, with Ricardo Pepi and Sergino Dest among those to threaten, but they were unable to find a way through for a second time.

Club Bruges goalkeeper Yann Sommer made an important contribution late on, saving a dangerous free-kick from Esmir Bajraktarevic as the visitors protected their lead.

The result gives Club Bruges all three points from their trip to Eindhoven, while PSV suffered a home defeat after briefly raising hopes of completing a comeback.
