Chris Wreh, the Liberia and United States centre-forward, has joined Leamington from Bedford Town on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old completed the move on 1 August 2026 and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027. No transfer fee was involved in the switch.
Wreh arrives at Leamington after spending the previous season with Bedford Town. He joined Bedford in September 2025 and later spent part of the campaign on loan at Banbury, before returning to his parent club at the end of May.
During his recorded National League and National League North appearances, Wreh has scored 13 goals in 87 matches, with nine assists. His record includes seven goals in 59 National League appearances and six goals in 28 National League North games.
The forward began the 2025-26 season with Bedford before moving to Banbury on loan in October. He returned to Bedford at the end of that temporary spell, completing the season with the club before leaving for Leamington.
Wreh has moved between a number of English clubs during his career, including Hereford, Maidenhead United, Tamworth, Hartlepool and Southend United. He also had earlier spells with Rushall, Rushden & Diamonds, Stratford Town, Dunstable, Newport Pagnell, FC Aylesbury and Barton Rovers.
His move to Leamington is the latest in a series of free transfers for the New York-born striker, who has also joined Maidenhead, Hartlepool, Southend, Tamworth, Hereford and Bedford without a fee. His only recent temporary move was the loan switch from Bedford to Banbury in the 2025-26 season.
Wreh is listed at 1.83 metres tall and favours his right foot. He joins Leamington as an experienced centre-forward with appearances in both the National League and National League North.
The transfer was completed on 1 August, with Wreh leaving Bedford Town to begin his Leamington contract through June 2027.
