The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will hear the Senegalese Football Federation’s appeal against CAF and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 8 October 2026.
The case concerns CAF’s decision to award the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final to Morocco as a 3-0 forfeit.
The hearing will be held behind closed doors. CAS said the case was following the ordinary timetable because none of the parties had requested an expedited procedure.
Once the hearings have concluded, the arbitration panel will begin its deliberations.
CAS also confirmed that no verdict will be delivered on 8 October. It said a date for the decision could not yet be announced.
