Bursaspor are in advanced negotiations to sign Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru, with the free agent potentially set to join the Turkish club on a six-month contract.
The proposed deal would include an option to extend his stay, giving Bursaspor the chance to retain the experienced winger beyond the initial agreement. The club are hoping his arrival will strengthen their attack for the second half of the season.
However, supporters will have to wait before seeing Onyekuru play in an official match for his new team. Under Turkish federation regulations, the former Galatasaray player cannot be registered until the January transfer window opens.
Onyekuru would be permitted to begin training with Bursaspor immediately to improve his fitness, but he will have to wait until the new year to make his debut for the club.
