Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes failed to score or provide an assist for a fifth consecutive Premier League match as his side drew 1-1 away to Leeds United.
Fernandes had scored a hat-trick against Ipswich Town on Matchday 2, but has since failed to make a direct contribution to a goal against Everton, Manchester City, Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur or Leeds United.
Manchester United have taken only four points from those five matches, drawing four and losing one, while scoring five goals in total.
Their results during that run have continued a difficult start to the league campaign for Fernandes in terms of attacking output. Including Manchester United’s 0-2 defeat by Hull City in the opening Premier League fixture, he has directly contributed to a goal in only one of the club’s first seven league matches.
That sole contribution came in the 3-0 victory over Ipswich Town, when Fernandes scored three times on Matchday 2.
