German-Moroccan winger Brahim Moumou has joined 1860 Munich’s first-team squad from the club’s reserve side 1860 Munchen II. The 25-year-old left-sided attacker signs a deal running until 30 June 2027 as he makes the full step into senior football with the fourth-tier Regionalliga Bayern outfit.
Moumou, who plays primarily as a left winger and favours his right foot, has been promoted after impressing in the Bayernliga Sud. He was part of the 1860 Munchen II squad that claimed the Bayernliga South title, underlining his impact at regional level and earning him a return to the club’s main set-up.
Born on 6 May 2001 and standing at 1.79m, Moumou has already gathered experience across several competitions despite his age. His record includes games and goals in the Slovak second tier and top-flight Nike Liga, as well as appearances in European competition qualifying rounds and domestic cup action, giving him a broader background than many regional-league players.
Moumou rejoined 1860 in January 2024 after a spell without a club, having previously played for Dunajska Streda in Slovakia following an earlier move from 1860’s youth ranks to STK Samorin. His path back through 1860’s reserve team has now culminated in a full promotion to the senior squad.
The winger’s contract until 2027 confirms him as part of 1860 Munich’s long-term plans in Regionalliga Bayern.
