Brahim Diaz linked with Besiktas move from Real Madrid

Brahim Diaz, the Morocco and Spain winger currently with Real Madrid, has been linked with a move to Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig.

Diaz, 27, is under contract at the Spanish club until 30 June 2027. He is valued at €35m and plays primarily on the right wing, operating with both feet.

The reported interest follows an international tournament in which Diaz started all six of Morocco’s possible matches at the 2026 World Cup. He provided four assists and played 81% of the available minutes, although he did not score.

Diaz returned to Real Madrid in June 2023 after a two-season loan spell at AC Milan. He made 91 Serie A appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists, before re-establishing himself with the Spanish club.

He has made 107 La Liga appearances, recording 14 goals and 19 assists, while also winning the Champions League with Real Madrid in the 2023-24 season. His honours also include league titles in Spain and Italy, as well as the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco.

The potential move to Besiktas remains a rumour, with Diaz’s existing Real Madrid contract extending through the end of the 2026-27 season.
