Beroe have signed Spanish-Moroccan attacking midfielder Hamza El Yahyaoui from Moralo CP on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old joins the Bulgarian club on 12 August 2026 after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with Moralo. He moves to Beroe, who compete in Bulgaria’s Vtora Liga, marking his first transfer outside Spain.
El Yahyaoui made 25 appearances in Segunda Federacion – Group V last season and scored twice. He operates in attacking midfield and is left-footed, giving Beroe a player who can be deployed in a creative role behind the forward line.
His move to Moralo came in January 2026, when he joined from CD Guijuelo, also without a transfer fee. Before that switch, he had represented CD Guijuelo after moving from CD Coria in August 2025.
The midfielder began that sequence of moves with CD Coria, having joined the club from CP Montehermoso in July 2024. His earlier career also included AD Villaviciosa, from whom he moved to Montehermoso in 2023.
Born in Mostoles, Spain, El Yahyaoui stands 1.74m tall and holds Spanish and Moroccan nationality. His arrival gives Beroe an attacking midfield option with experience in Spain’s lower divisions as the Bulgarian club begins the 2026-27 campaign.
El Yahyaoui has now completed his free transfer from Moralo CP to Beroe.
