Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has hailed new arrivals Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown as “very special players” and backed them to make an immediate impact at the Bundesliga giants.
The pair, signed this summer after eye-catching seasons in the Bundesliga and Eredivisie and strong showings at the 2026 World Cup, are seen by the club’s hierarchy as key pieces in Bayern’s rebuild.
Speaking to German media, Hainer said of the duo: “كلاهما لاعب مميز للغاية، وقد ظهر ذلك خلال كاس العالم” – “Both of them are very special players, and that was evident during the World Cup.”
Versatile Saibari backed to light up Bayern attack
Saibari, a 25-year-old Morocco international, arrives in Munich following an impressive spell at PSV Eindhoven, where he established himself as one of the Dutch side’s standout performers.
Comfortable across multiple attacking positions, the forward is valued for his versatility as well as his direct threat on goal. His reputation grew further at the 2026 World Cup, where he was one of Morocco’s most influential players before injury cut his tournament short.
Hainer underlined how highly Bayern rate the Moroccan: “الصيباري قدم مستويات رايعة حتى تعرض للاصابة، وسجل هدفا في كل مباراة خاضها.”
“Saibari delivered outstanding performances until he suffered the injury, and he scored in every game he played.”
Bayern see Saibari as a player who can operate both centrally and from wide areas, helping to refresh an attack that has been criticised at times for lacking unpredictability and depth behind its established stars.
Brown’s pace and balance impress Bayern hierarchy
On the left side of defence, 23-year-old German full-back Nathaniel Brown has been brought in after a breakthrough spell with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Brown’s combination of pace, stamina and his ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch was a major factor in Bayern’s decision to move for him this summer. His profile is viewed as an ideal fit for the club’s high-tempo, front-foot approach.
Hainer said the club were convinced the defender can thrive in Munich: “اما براون فهو لاعب رايع، نعتقد انه سيفيدنا كثيرا.. يتميز بالسرعة، ويتناسب بشكل مثالي مع اسلوب بايرن ميونخ.”
“As for Brown, he is a wonderful player, and we believe he will be very beneficial for us… He is fast and fits perfectly with Bayern Munich’s style.”
Brown’s arrival adds competition at left-back, a position Bayern have repeatedly sought to strengthen in recent seasons as modern full-backs are expected to contribute both to defensive solidity and attacking build-up.
Eberl praised for transfer business
The signings have also prompted internal praise for sporting director Max Eberl, who has been charged with reshaping the squad after a turbulent period for the club on and off the pitch.
German journalist Maximilian Koch of Abendzeitung reported that Hainer specifically singled out Eberl’s work in the market when asked whether the deals for Saibari and Brown might help the executive secure a new contract.

“Max Eberl definitely did a good job by signing these two players.”
The public backing underscores Bayern’s belief that securing younger, high-upside players such as Saibari and Brown is essential to competing at the top level in Germany and Europe over the long term.
With pre-season under way and expectations high at the Allianz Arena, attention will now turn to how quickly the Moroccan attacker and German full-back can adapt to their new surroundings – and whether their World Cup form can be replicated in Bayern colours.
