Bayern Munich’s Sabiri labels Air Arabia ‘worst airline in the world’

Bayern Munich player Sabiri has criticised Air Arabia on social media, accusing the airline’s cabin crew of showing a lack of respect towards passengers.

The Morocco international described Air Arabia as “the worst airline in the world” in a post online. He directed his strongest criticism at the carrier’s staff, writing: “Their staff have no respect for customers. It’s always a problem with them.”

Sabiri did not explain what incident had led to the complaint, and the exact cause of the dispute remains unclear. Air Arabia has not issued a response to the accusations.

Air Arabia is a low-cost airline based in the UAE. Its subsidiary, Air Arabia Maroc, operates a number of services connecting Morocco with destinations across Europe.

The airline has been the subject of negative coverage in recent months. In September, Air Arabia Maroc was ordered to pay a combined total of 9,100 euros in compensation and legal costs following nine cases brought in France.

Those lawsuits concerned serious flight delays.
