Barcelona have reportedly opened negotiations to sign Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, according to El Nacional.
The Catalan club are said to be seeking to take advantage of uncertainty surrounding Manchester City and move ahead of Real Madrid in the race for the Norway international.
Haaland could become available for a relatively low transfer fee if Manchester City receive a serious punishment over their financial affairs, the report says.
Barcelona are also monitoring several other Manchester City players, including Josko Gvardiol, Ryan Cherki, Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden and Antoine Semenyo.
Haaland’s market value is estimated at 220m euros by Transfermarkt.
