Barcelona and Premier League clubs tracking Leeds defender Tarik Muharemovic

Barcelona and several Premier League clubs have added Leeds defender Tarik Muharemovic to their transfer shortlists, according to Football Insider.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international joined Leeds from Sassuolo in the summer for approximately £34m after an impressive season in Serie A. He has quickly established himself as an important member of Daniel Farke’s back three and made a strong start to life in the Premier League.

Muharemovic was named Leeds’ player of the month in August. He was also voted man of the match in the club’s most recent fixture before the international break, against Crystal Palace.

A move away in January appears unlikely given Leeds’ recent investment in the defender. However, more significant interest could develop next summer if Muharemovic maintains his current level of performance.
