Artem Ntumba Muamba: Russia-DR Congo striker leaves M. Lipetsk to become free agent

Russia and DR Congo forward Artem Ntumba Muamba has left M. Lipetsk and is now a free agent after reaching the end of his spell with the Russian club. The 23-year-old centre-forward departs the side from the Russian 2. Division B and is currently without a club.

Muamba, who can lead the line through the middle, moves on after developing his senior career at M. Lipetsk, where he gained experience in the Russian league system. His exit opens the way for the attacker to assess options for the next stage of his career both inside and outside Russia.

Eligible to represent both Russia and DR Congo, Muamba joins the pool of unattached players available on the market during this part of the transfer window. His status as a free agent means any interested club will be able to negotiate directly with the player without agreeing a transfer fee.

The centre-forward’s departure marks a change in attacking resources for M. Lipetsk as they prepare for the forthcoming campaign in the 2. Division B. For Muamba, the move brings his time with the club to a close and confirms his availability for a new challenge.
