Arsenal and Chelsea scout Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler amid limited playing time

Arsenal and Chelsea watched Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler during Turkey’s Nations League group-stage match against Italy.

The two London clubs have started monitoring the 21-year-old as he continues to face competition for regular first-team football at the Spanish club. Arsenal made an attempt to sign the Turkey international at the beginning of 2026, but the move did not go ahead.

Guler has featured in seven matches for Real Madrid in the current Spanish league season. He has scored one goal and provided two assists.

The midfielder remains under contract with Real Madrid until June 2029. His market value is estimated at 100m euros.
