German defender Antonio Rudiger, currently at Real Madrid, has been linked with a move to Tottenham in the Premier League.
Rudiger, 33, joined Real Madrid from Chelsea on a free transfer in July 2022 and remains under contract in Spain until 30 June 2027. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported as part of the rumour.
The centre-back has made four La Liga appearances this season, scoring once, and has played twice in the Champions League, also finding the net once. He has started 33% of Real Madrid’s league matches and 67% of their Champions League games.
Rudiger has won the Champions League twice, with his most recent success coming with Real Madrid in 2023-24. He has also helped the club win the Spanish league, Spanish Cup, Spanish Super Cup, Club World Cup, Intercontinental Cup and Uefa Super Cup.
The Germany and Sierra Leone-born defender’s current market value is listed at €6m. He made his senior breakthrough at Stuttgart before moving to Roma and then Chelsea, where he won the Champions League and Europa League.
Rudiger’s contract means any move to Tottenham would take place before his deal with Real Madrid expires, unless the defender remains in the Spanish capital beyond the current rumour.
