Antonio Conte sets out next-club condition amid Manchester United and Juventus links

Antonio Conte has said he would consider returning to management during the season, but wants his next club to have “somewhat lost sight of their history”.

Conte is currently without a club after leaving Napoli just a few months ago. Speaking to The Athletic, the Italian manager outlined the type of challenge that could persuade him to take charge again.

“I’d like to go to a club that has somewhat lost sight of their history,” Conte said.

The 56-year-old’s comments come amid reported links with Manchester United and Juventus, although he did not name any potential destination during the interview.

Conte has previously managed Juventus, as well as Chelsea, Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur. He most recently led Napoli before departing the club.
