Anis Didon: Franco-Algerian right-back joins Onet-le-Chateau on free transfer from Rodez AF B

Franco-Algerian defender Anis Didon has joined Onet-le-Chateau Football from Rodez AF B on a free transfer, strengthening the National 2 side’s options at right-back ahead of the new campaign.

The 21-year-old, who plays primarily at right-back and is right-footed, moves across to Onet-le-Chateau after progressing through the youth and reserve structure at Rodez. The switch, completed on 22 July 2026, keeps him in the same National 2 group but offers a fresh environment in which to establish himself at senior level.

Didon featured for Rodez AF B in National 3 last season and previously impressed in the National U19 set-up, where he amassed 15 appearances and scored twice. That run of games at youth level underlined his ability to contribute both defensively and in the final third from wide areas.

Born on 28 June 2005, Didon has represented both France and Algeria at youth level and carries dual nationality. His move to Onet-le-Chateau marks the next step in a development path that has already taken him from Montauban’s youth ranks into the national league structure.

He first came to wider attention with Montauban’s junior sides before transferring to Rodez AF U19 in 2022. A subsequent promotion to Rodez AF B in 2024 gave him his first taste of senior football, paving the way for this summer’s free transfer.

Didon’s arrival is confirmed as a permanent move, adding a new defensive option for Onet-le-Chateau in National 2.
