Senegalese centre-forward Alioune Thioune has joined Italian club K-Sport from Ghiviborgo on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old completed the move on 12 August 2026 and will continue his career in Serie D, with K-Sport competing in the Serie D – F division. Thioune’s arrival adds a Senegalese attacking option to the club’s squad following his season with Ghiviborgo in the Serie D – E division.
Thioune made 25 appearances for Ghiviborgo during the 2025-26 campaign, scoring four goals and providing one assist. He played 1,184 minutes in the competition and averaged a goal every 296 minutes.
Before joining Ghiviborgo, Thioune spent the 2024-25 season with Virtus Entella, having moved up from Entella’s Under-19 side. He was part of the Virtus Entella team that won the Serie C title in 2024-25 and also collected the Supercoppa Serie C during the same campaign.
His record at youth level included 10 goals in 22 appearances for Virtus Entella’s Primavera 2 side during the 2022-23 season, as well as three goals in 23 appearances in the following campaign. He also recorded two goals in eight Under-17 appearances.
Thioune began his time in Italy with Entella’s youth teams, joining the Under-17 side in 2020 before progressing to the Under-19 squad a year later. His move to K-Sport represents his latest step after a season in which he established himself in senior football with Ghiviborgo.
The forward joins K-Sport without a transfer fee and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027.
