Al-Nassr have renewed the contracts of four promising players, including عبدالرحمن سفياني, who was the subject of two attempted moves by Al-Hilal, while also signing two newcomers to reinforce their youth ranks.
The club confirmed the agreements on its official X account on 8 October 2026, announcing extensions for عبدالرحمن العنزي, يوسف الطحان, فواز المشهور and عبدالرحمن سفياني.
Sفياني is regarded as the most notable name in the group. Al-Hilal first tried to sign him while he was playing for Al-Kawkab, but Al-Nassr secured his services in January 2023.
Two years later, Al-Hilal made another attempt to recruit the forward after he entered the final period of his contract with Al-Nassr. The Riyadh club, however, resolved the situation by extending the deal of the young player for a further period.
The latest renewal represents the second time Al-Nassr have extended Sفياني’s contract. His performances for Al-Nassr Under-21 during the previous edition of the Jawwy Elite League played a significant part in the decision.
The club also announced the signing of Tunisian player Yassin Sallam, who joins from Al-Ettifaq. The agreement describes him as a professional player born in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and he has been brought in to support Al-Nassr’s age-group teams in the coming period.
Sallam was not the only new arrival. Al-Nassr have also completed a deal for goalkeeper عبدالهادي العلوان, who moves from Al-Fateh on loan until the end of the current season.
The moves are intended to strengthen the squad as Al-Nassr attempt to improve their position in the Jawwy Elite League, the Saudi Under-21 competition.
The club have endured a difficult start to the current campaign and sit 14th in the table with six points. Their record consists of two victories and two defeats, leaving them at risk of failing to reach the quarter-finals at the end of the season.
Al-Nassr’s announcement of the four contract renewals and the two new signings comes as the club seeks to address that poor early position and provide greater support for its Under-21 side.
