Al Jazira open talks with Inter for Kristjan Asllani as permanent deal remains key

Romano reports that Al Jazira have opened discussions with Inter over a possible move for midfielder Kristjan Asllani, but the Italian club have made clear that they are only prepared to consider a permanent transfer.

Negotiations between the two clubs are already under way, although Asllani has not yet decided whether he wants to pursue the opportunity. Inter are understood to have rejected an initial loan proposal from Al Jazira and are insisting that any agreement must involve a permanent move.

The talks therefore remain at an early stage, with the player’s position and the structure of the deal still to be resolved. Al Jazira have made their interest known by approaching Inter, while the club’s refusal to accept a temporary arrangement has established the main condition for further negotiations.

Asllani remains the central figure in the developing situation. Although discussions between Inter and Al Jazira are continuing, the midfielder has yet to make a decision on his future. No agreement has been reached between the clubs, and Inter’s preference for a permanent transfer means a loan move is not currently acceptable to them.

Romano’s report indicates that Al Jazira’s approach has moved the matter into a formal negotiating phase, rather than confirming that a transfer is close to completion. The two clubs must still find common ground over the nature of the move, while Asllani must decide whether he wishes to leave Inter for the proposed opportunity.

For now, Inter’s stance is straightforward: the club will not approve a loan arrangement and want any departure for Asllani to be permanent. Al Jazira’s interest remains active, but the outcome will depend on whether they can meet that requirement and whether the player gives his approval.

The latest development leaves the transfer unresolved. Talks are continuing between Al Jazira and Inter, but there is no agreement at this stage and Asllani has not committed to a decision.
