Senegal international Iliman Ndiaye has reportedly reached an agreement in principle over personal terms with Al Hilal, but the Saudi Pro League club must still negotiate a transfer fee with Everton before any deal can be completed.
According to Asharq Al-Awsat, the 26-year-old forward has accepted the framework of a contract that would see him earn approximately €316,000 per week, representing a significant increase on his current salary.
The agreement is a major step forward for Al Hilal in their pursuit of the Senegal international, although negotiations with Everton remain the biggest obstacle.
Everton stand firm on asking price
Everton are reportedly unwilling to part with Ndiaye unless their valuation is met, with the Premier League club seeking a fee of more than €80 million.
According to Africafoot, the Merseyside club have set a minimum asking price of $80 million, underlining their determination to retain one of their key attacking players unless they receive an exceptional offer.
The high valuation means Al Hilal must now decide whether to meet Everton’s demands or abandon the move despite already reaching an agreement with the player.
