Congo-Brazzaville midfielder Chandrel Massanga has opted to remain in the Turkish Super Lig by signing for Eyupspor, while Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem has completed a move from FC Nantes to Konyaspor.
Massanga, 26, had attracted interest from several clubs in recent months before choosing Eyupspor. The defensive midfielder’s transfer was confirmed on the Turkish side’s official X account.
He leaves Hatayspor after three seasons to continue his career in Turkey’s top flight. According to figures cited in the report, his market value is currently estimated at €500,000.
Massanga, who plays as a holding midfielder, had been the subject of transfer speculation for some time, with Africafoot previously reporting that he was being monitored by multiple sides. His decision ends uncertainty over his future following his spell at Hatayspor.
Awaziem signs long-term deal at Konyaspor
Konyaspor have announced the signing of Nigerian centre-back Chidozie Awaziem from FC Nantes in a permanent deal.
The 29-year-old defender has agreed a contract running until 30 June 2028, the Turkish club confirmed via their official Instagram account.
Konyaspor paid a transfer fee of €1m to secure Awaziem’s services from the French side. The Nigeria international is listed with a market value of €2.5m on Transfermarkt.
Awaziem moves to Turkey having previously accumulated experience in European football with Nantes and other clubs, and his long-term agreement reflects Konyaspor’s intention to build around him in central defence over the coming seasons.
