Bursaspor have opened talks with former Genclerbirligi winger Henry Onyekuru over a possible six-month contract ahead of the winter transfer window.
According to Fanatik, the Turkish club are looking to strengthen their attack and have targeted the Nigeria international, who is currently a free agent following his departure from Genclerbirligi. His availability means Bursaspor would not have to pay a transfer fee.
Negotiations are understood to have progressed well, with the club considering a six-month deal that would include an option. However, there is a regulatory obstacle to his registration, as the former Genclerbirligi player would not be permitted to appear in official matches before January.
Wollacott joins FC Kosice
FC Kosice have confirmed the signing of Ghana goalkeeper Joe Wollacott.
The 30-year-old has agreed a contract with the Slovak Superliga club until the end of 2026 after spending two weeks training with the team, known as the yellow and blue.
His agreement contains an option to extend his stay until 2027. Wollacott had been without a club since leaving Crawley Town in July and has been brought in to replace Kevin Dabrowski, who departed at the end of the summer transfer window.
Matondo set for Paris FC extension
Rudy Matondo is close to extending his contract with Paris FC despite having limited playing time at the start of the season, according to recent reports by L’Equipe.
The Franco-Congolese midfielder joined the Paris club last winter but could not sign a long-term agreement because he was a minor at the time of his arrival.
Now 18, Matondo is set to see his contractual situation change quickly, although that comes despite his initial expectations over his position in the club’s pecking order.
Bolma to leave IFK Norrkoping
Stephen Bolma is set to leave IFK Norrkoping when his contract expires this winter, after the Swedish club decided not to offer him a new deal.
The Ghanaian midfielder moved to Sweden in early 2023 from the Attram De Visser Academy in an attempt to establish himself in European football. IFK Norrkoping announced the decision through their social media channels.
The 21-year-old’s spell at the club has been difficult, with repeated injury problems significantly restricting both his development and his impact within the squad.
