The draw for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers (AFCON 2027) has been made, setting the stage for the battle to reach the expanded tournament co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
A total of 48 teams have been drawn into 12 groups (A-L), with the majority seeing the top two teams advance. However, Groups D, H and L, which contain the co-host nations will send only one additional team through alongside the automatic qualifiers.
