Moroccan defender Adnan Bennasar has joined Spanish side Astorga on a free transfer from Wydad Fes, signing a deal with the Segunda Federacion Group I club until 30 June 2027.
The centre-back’s move was completed on 29 July 2026, adding defensive depth to an Astorga squad preparing for another campaign in Spain’s fourth tier. Bennasar specialises as a central defender and will operate in the heart of the back line for his new team.
Bennasar arrives from Wydad Fes, where he had been on the books in his homeland’s domestic scene. His switch marks a step into Spanish football and a new phase of his career in European competition, with Astorga committing to a one-year contract for the Morocco-born player.
Astorga will look to Bennasar to reinforce their central defensive options across the coming season, with the club moving early in the summer window to secure his services on a free. The agreement means the defender is now tied to the Spanish outfit through to the end of the 2026-27 campaign.
