Adidas launches Hyperboost Euphoria as brand pushes running tech into streetwear

Adidas has unveiled two new Hyperboost models in a major expansion of its energy-return running and lifestyle range, betting that performance cushioning can power both daily wear and road running.

The sportswear giant is rolling out fresh colourways for the Hyperboost Edge running shoe and introducing an entirely new silhouette, the Hyperboost Euphoria, aimed squarely at everyday style-conscious consumers. Both shoes feature the brand’s latest Hyperboost cushioning, designed to blend comfort, energy return and a sharp, contemporary aesthetic.

Road-running model gets tech-heavy upgrade

The Hyperboost Edge has been engineered to deliver consistent comfort on tarmac, built around Hyperboost Pro cushioning – a lightweight platform with a 38mm stack height intended to provide a soft landing, responsive energy return and long-lasting support on runs.

A lightweight Primeweave upper is designed to improve ventilation and flexibility while reducing irritation across the forefoot, with Adidas saying the shoe is built to remain comfortable “from the first step to the last”.

Underfoot, a LIGHTTRAXION outsole, combined with strategically placed ContinentalTM rubber in the forefoot, is claimed to offer reliable grip and traction across a range of road-running conditions without adding unnecessary weight. Three-dimensional heel elements, paired with a widened platform, are designed to enhance stability, flexibility and secure lockdown across different foot shapes and movement patterns.

The Hyperboost Edge returns in a new white-and-solar colourway for women and a “halo white” version for men.

Hyperboost Euphoria targets life beyond the run

Adidas Originals is using the same cushioning breakthrough to push beyond pure performance running, introducing the Hyperboost Euphoria – a new design inspired by the Hyperboost Edge but reworked for all-day, off-track wear.

Built around the mantra that “comfort comes first”, the Hyperboost Euphoria combines Hyperboost cushioning with a sculpted midsole, a wide platform and an extended heel. The set-up is intended to deliver confident stability, lightweight comfort and a bold, progressive look tailored to life outside training sessions.

Ilka Liebmann, Vice President of Footwear Design at Adidas Originals, said the shoe and its campaign are aimed at a new generation that sees sport as a style influence rather than just performance.

“عندما طورنا Hyperboost Euphoria، كنا نفكر بمن يتالق باسلوب مميز مستوحى من الرياضة؛ لذلك فان LIVE HYPER هو نداء العلامة لجيل جديد يعطي الاولوية للعفوية والراحة والطاقة، ويسمح للحركة بان تقوده نحو الغير متوقع. يتحدى هذا الاسلوب ليس فقط كيفية الشعور بالحذاء، ولكن ايضا كيف يمكن ان تشعر الحياة.”

Two lifestyle variants, one design language

The Hyperboost Euphoria arrives in two variants:

– Hyperboost EPHR – featuring a bold TPU mesh construction and a wide, streetwear-inspired shape.
– Hyperboost EPHR LT – offering a lighter interpretation with a semi-translucent, one-piece mesh upper that reveals the underlying structural design.

Both versions maintain the same Hyperboost-driven focus on cushioning and stability, while adopting distinct visual identities to appeal to different style preferences.

On sale now worldwide

The expanded Hyperboost line-up – including the updated Hyperboost Edge and the new Hyperboost Euphoria in EPHR and EPHR LT trims – is available from today through Adidas stores, adidas.com and selected retail partners.

With this launch, Adidas is seeking to blur the boundaries between performance running footwear and fashion-led streetwear, positioning Hyperboost as a platform that can move seamlessly from the road to everyday city life.
