Senegalese centre-back Massire Sylla is the subject of a reported move from Union SG to AC Milan, with the Italian club linked with a transfer to Serie A.
Sylla, 21, joined Union Saint-Gilloise from Norwegian club Lyn in January 2026 for €800,000 and has established himself in the Belgian side’s defence during the current campaign. He has made nine appearances in the Jupiler Pro League, scoring once and providing one assist, while also featuring three times in the Europa League and registering an assist.
The defender has started 90% of Union SG’s league matches this season and played in both of the club’s Champions League qualifying fixtures. He also appeared in the Belgian Super Cup, which Union SG won in the 2026-27 season, having previously helped the club claim the Belgian Cup in 2026.
A move to AC Milan would represent a step up from the Jupiler Pro League to one of Europe’s major domestic competitions, although the rumour does not indicate that an agreement has been reached or provide details of a proposed fee.
Sylla is valued at €5m and remains under contract with Union SG until 30 June 2030.
