Moroccan centre-back Abdellah Khafifi has left Raja Casablanca and is now a free agent after reaching the end of his spell with the Botola Pro Inwi champions.
The 33-year-old defender, born in Oujda, departs Raja with his market value currently listed at €550,000. His exit, confirmed on 20 July 2026, brings to a close a highly successful stint with the Casablanca giants, who he joined in July 2023.
Khafifi played a central role in Raja’s recent resurgence, contributing to a memorable 2023-24 campaign in which the club secured both the Moroccan league title and the domestic cup. Those trophies added to an already decorated CV for the right-footed centre-back, who also lifted the African Nations Championship with Morocco in the 2020-21 season.
Standing at 1.83m, Khafifi built his reputation in the Moroccan top flight with Mouloudia before moving abroad to Qatar with Umm Salal SC, and then returning home to sign for Raja on a free transfer. Across his career he has amassed almost 200 appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi and featured in both the CAF Champions League and domestic cup competitions.
Khafifi’s departure from Raja Casablanca and move into free agency leaves the experienced defender available for a new club ahead of the coming campaign, following the official end of his contract on 20 July 2026.
