Dejan Kulusevski makes Tottenham return after 526 days out

Dejan Kulusevski made his first appearance for Tottenham in almost 18 months during their Premier League home match against Coventry.

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi brought on the 26-year-old attacking midfielder in the 87th minute, with his return coming 526 days after his previous game on 11 May 2025.

The Sweden international had been sidelined by a serious knee injury that required surgery.

Tottenham were leading 2-1 when Kulusevski entered the match. They secured the points in the sixth minute of added time, when Ben Davies scored their third goal to settle the result.
