Arthur Wandji, a Cameroonian sports betting expert and journalist, has selected four matches for a football accumulator on 3 October. His recommendations include Harry Kane to score for England, a Spain win-related scoreline against the Czech Republic, and a corners market involving Russia.
Spain v Czech Republic – 3 October, 18:45 GMT
Betting option: Spain to be leading 2-0 at some point in the match (odds: 1.32).
Spain have begun their Nations League campaign with two victories, including a 4-1 win against Croatia. Lamine Yamal scored in both of their opening fixtures.
The Czech Republic, by contrast, have lost both of their first matches and have conceded an average of two goals across their past five international games. Pavel Sulc is suspended and Adam Karabec is injured for the Czech side, while Ferran Torres is unavailable for Spain.
Spain have avoided defeat in their seven most recent meetings with the Czech Republic. Their stronger attacking form also makes a 2-0 Spanish advantage at some stage of the game a logical selection.
Croatia v England – 3 October, 16:00 GMT
Betting option: Harry Kane to score (odds: 1.86).
Harry Kane remains England’s main attacking outlet after scoring against the Czech Republic and Spain in their previous two matches. The England captain is expected to start despite a number of absences from the squad.
Nico O’Reilly, Cole Palmer, Marcus Rashford and Declan Rice are among those unavailable for England. Croatia also face several defensive uncertainties. Kane’s attacking involvement and his position as England’s first-choice centre-forward support the selection of him as a goalscorer.
Cote d’Ivoire v Cameroon – 3 October, 19:00 GMT
Betting option: Cote d’Ivoire or draw, with fewer than 3.5 total goals (odds: 1.41).
Cote d’Ivoire have won their past two matches by 2-0, while Cameroon have conceded in draws and defeats against Congo, in a 1-1 match, and Comoros, in a 3-1 loss.
Five meetings between the Elephants and the Indomitable Lions have finished with fewer than 3.5 goals. That total has also stayed under the same limit in Cote d’Ivoire’s past eight home matches.
Wilfried Singo and Amad Diallo are unavailable for Cote d’Ivoire, while Christian Kofane is out for Cameroon. The figures point towards a low-scoring game, with Cote d’Ivoire considered the more likely side to avoid defeat.
Russia v Namibia – 3 October, 15:00 GMT
Betting option: Russia to win more than 5.5 corners (odds: 1.40).
Russia, ranked 35th in the FIFA rankings, are favourites for this friendly. They have won their past three matches without conceding, beating Burkina Faso and Trinidad and Tobago 3-0 before a 2-0 victory against Iran.
Russia have averaged 7.5 corners per match in their recent fixtures and have taken at least six corners in 70% of their past 10 games. Namibia, meanwhile, come into the match after a 1-0 defeat by Comoros and have produced limited attacking numbers.
Russia’s corner count and the prospect of territorial dominance make the over 5.5 corners selection consistent with the available statistics.
