Bayern Munich are considering bringing back 21-year-old Elversberg winger Maurice Krattenmacher just six months after selling him, according to Bild.
Bayern sold Krattenmacher to Elversberg last summer for €2m but included a buy-back option worth €7.5m in the agreement. The German club are reportedly planning to activate that clause during the winter transfer window.
Krattenmacher’s contract with Elversberg also contains a €9m release clause. A number of clubs are expected to show interest in the developing player, but Bayern could move ahead of their rivals by signing him for the lower buy-back fee.
The winger has made four appearances in the German league this season and has scored three goals.
