Barcelona and Arsenal tracking Sporting right-back Ivan Fresneda

Barcelona and Arsenal are monitoring Sporting right-back Ivan Fresneda, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.

Barcelona are interested in signing the 22-year-old Spaniard as they consider options for the right side of their defence. The Catalan club could look to recruit a replacement if Jules Kounde is sold.

However, Barcelona face competition from Arsenal, who are also keeping track of Fresneda’s situation.

Fresneda has made eight appearances for Sporting in all competitions this season and has provided one assist.

According to Transfermarkt, the defender is valued at 20 million euros.
