Younes Bakiz, the Danish-Moroccan attacking midfielder at Silkeborg IF, has been linked with a move to Moroccan club Raja Casablanca.
The reported switch would take the 27-year-old from Denmark’s Superliga to Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi. Bakiz has made five league appearances for Silkeborg so far this season, playing 129 minutes without scoring or providing an assist.
He has also featured in the Danish Cup and the Future Cup during the current campaign, starting both matches. His role is primarily in attacking midfield and he is capable of using either foot.
Bakiz joined Silkeborg from Aalborg BK on 1 July 2024 in a deal worth €400,000. He had spent two seasons with Aalborg after moving there from Viborg FF, where he won the Danish second tier in 2021.
The player’s current market value is listed at €1.5m, although no transfer fee or probability has been established for the reported move to Raja Casablanca. There has also been no confirmation that an agreement has been reached between the clubs.
Bakiz remains under contract at Silkeborg until 30 June 2028, leaving the Danish club with the player tied down beyond the current season if the reported interest develops into a formal transfer.
