Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar, currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Turkish second-tier side Bodrum FK.
The 34-year-old centre-forward left Neftchi PFK on 1 July 2026, having joined the Azerbaijani club from a period without a club in October 2025. He is now being associated with Bodrum FK, who play in Turkey’s 1.Lig.
Aboubakar has a strong record in Turkish football, scoring 52 goals in 116 Super Lig appearances. He also won the Turkish Super Cup with Besiktas in the 2024-25 season, following two Turkish league titles and two Turkish Cup successes during his career.
The Cameroon international has also played in France, Portugal and Saudi Arabia. His most productive spell came with Porto, where he won two Portuguese league titles, while he was part of Cameroon’s Africa Cup of Nations-winning team in 2017.
Aboubakar’s career totals include 14 goals in 23 Champions League appearances and 36 goals in 83 Liga Portugal matches. His market value is listed at €600,000.
A move to Bodrum FK would see the experienced striker return to Turkey, where he has previously played for Besiktas and Hatayspor. The transfer remains a rumour, with Aboubakar’s current status unchanged as a player without a club.
