Liverpool are interested in Real Madrid forward Endrick, but have not made an official offer for the Brazil international, who is not considering leaving the Spanish club at present.
The interest was first reported by Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo and subsequently confirmed by ESPN. Liverpool are understood to be monitoring the 2026/2027 season situation surrounding the 19? Waitcannot add age. Remove. Endrick after his return to Real Madrid, but there has been no formal approach from the Premier League club.
ESPN reports that Endrick has no desire to depart Real Madrid. The forward has also been handed the number nine shirt for the 2026/2027 campaign, a further indication of his importance to the club’s plans.
Aston Villa and Roma are among the clubs said to have explored the possibility of signing Endrick on loan in recent weeks. However, both proposals were rejected immediately by the player and Mourinho.
Endrick has reportedly impressed during training since returning to Real Madrid and has made clear that he wants to remain at the club. Mourinho believes the Brazilian can operate in several positions across the forward line, a versatility that could help him compete for opportunities in a crowded attack.
Real Madrid’s current attacking options include Vini Jr., Mbappe, Espi, Diomande and Rodrygo, although Rodrygo is currently unavailable because of injury. Endrick therefore faces strong competition for a place in the starting line-up and for regular minutes.
The forward joined Real Madrid in 2024 but struggled to secure consistent playing time under Carlo Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso. Injuries affected him during the following year, limiting his progress and preventing him from establishing himself in the team.
His fortunes improved after he moved to Lyon in France on loan. Endrick performed strongly during his spell there and returned to the level that had made him one of the most highly regarded young forwards in Brazilian football.
His form at Lyon also helped him earn selection for the Brazil national team for the World Cup. That progress persuaded Real Madrid to offer him another opportunity at the club, rather than pursue a permanent departure.
Liverpool’s reported interest adds to the attention around Endrick, but the current position remains that no offer has been submitted and the player intends to continue his career at Real Madrid. The club must now decide how best to manage his development amid significant competition in the attacking positions.
