Bologna step up interest in AC Milan defender David Odogu

German-Nigerian centre-back David Odogu, currently with AC Milan, has been linked with a move to Bologna.

The proposed transfer would keep the 20-year-old in Serie A, with Bologna named as the club interested in signing him from Milan. Odogu’s position is centre-back, and his current market value is listed at €5m.

The reported link remains unconfirmed, with no transfer fee or agreement attached to the rumour. There is also no stated probability for the move, meaning its likelihood cannot be assessed from the current information.

Odogu is under contract at AC Milan until 30 June 2029, so he is not approaching the end of his deal. Any move to Bologna would therefore involve a player who remains tied to the Milan club for the next three seasons.

The interest comes as Bologna and AC Milan continue to operate in the same domestic division, although the details of any potential negotiations have not been made public. Odogu’s age, nationality and centre-back role are the only player details attached to the rumour, while no recent appearances, international record or transfer history has been provided in connection with the proposed move.

For now, the Bologna approach remains a transfer rumour involving a contracted AC Milan defender.
