Samba Mbengue transfer: MAS Fes show interest in AJEL Rufisque defender

Senegalese centre-back Samba Mbengue is being linked with a move from AJEL Rufisque to Moroccan club MAS Fes, with the Botola Pro Inwi side monitoring the 19-year-old defender.

Mbengue has established himself in AJEL Rufisque’s first-team squad since joining the Senegalese club from Wally Daan in September 2025. He has made 26 Ligue 1 appearances, playing 2,248 minutes.

The defender was born in Thies and stands 1.83m tall. He is left-footed and has been listed primarily as a centre-back. Mbengue’s market value is currently recorded at €200,000.

The reported interest comes after less than a year at AJEL Rufisque, where he joined on a free transfer. Before that move, he spent the 2024-25 season with Wally Daan after leaving Amitie FC.

A move to MAS Fes would represent a switch from Senegal’s Ligue 1 to Morocco’s top flight, but the reported link remains at the rumour stage. Mbengue remains an AJEL Rufisque player and is currently part of the club’s defensive options.
